Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid and England star, has become a minority investor in Birmingham Phoenix for The Hundred 2026 tournament. The 22-year-old, who grew up in Stourbridge, will focus on community engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, leveraging his platform to unite diverse communities through sport. Bellingham holds 1.2% equity in the Phoenix, with Warwickshire County Cricket Club (50.4%) and Birmingham City owners Knighthead Capital Management (48.4%, including NFL’s Tom Brady) retaining majority control.

The investment aligns with a broader rebranding wave in The Hundred, as three teams—Manchester Super Giants (formerly Originals), Sunrisers Leeds (Northern Superchargers), and MI London (Oval Invincibles)—adopt new identities tied to Indian Premier League owners.
