The BBC will broadcast live Allianz National League action for the first time in 2026, with Tyrone's Division Two opener against Kildare on January 24th leading the schedule. Six fixtures across football and hurling have been confirmed, with more to be announced later in the campaign, marking a significant expansion of live coverage for Gaelic games fans.

The opening weekend features a football double, as Monaghan's Division One derby with All-Ireland champions Armagh follows the Tyrone match. A second double weekend follows, headlined by the classic Ulster rivalry between Derry and Tyrone on January 31st. The hurling spotlight falls on Antrim manager Davy Fitzgerald facing his native Clare in Division 1B.

This new deal brings key matches to a wider audience, including Tyrone's reunion with former manager Mickey Harte when Offaly visit Dungannon. The live broadcasts will be available on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport NI website, offering fans unprecedented access to the league season.
