Alex Marshall and Paul Foster, Scotland’s most decorated bowls duo, headline the Commonwealth Games team with 13 combined medals, including a 2014 men’s pairs gold. Marshall, eyeing his eighth selection, called it an “honour” to return to Glasgow’s home Games. “Paul and I will give it our best to win a medal,” he vowed. His niece Beth Riva joins Caroline Brown in women’s pairs, while Jason Banks makes his debut in singles. Pauline Wilson, Garry Brown, and Robert Barr (with director Sarah Jane Ewing) aim to defend their 2022 para team gold.

The Games mark bowls’ first indoor history at Glasgow’s SEC Centre, running 24 July–2 August.
