Vanessa Gold confirmed that the Gold family will sell their 25% stake in West Ham United to a consortium led by former Newcastle co‑owner Amanda Staveley.

The consortium includes Mehrdad Ghodoussi and PCP Capital Partners. Vanessa said, “I have now reached an agreement to sell my family's shareholding to a consortium led by Amanda Staveley, Mehrdad Ghodoussi and PCP Capital Partners.” She added the process is not yet complete but she wanted to keep fans informed.

The sale would give the consortium a significant minority interest in the Championship club. While the deal is still pending, the family’s openness signals a willingness to bring in new investment and potentially new strategic direction for West Ham. Further updates are expected as the transaction progresses.
