Wales will host their autumn Nations League matches at Cardiff City Stadium after earning promotion to the highest level of competition. The FAW confirmed the decision despite past suggestions some games could move to the larger Principality Stadium before Euro 2028. Wales secured top spot in League B Group 4 with a 4-1 victory over Iceland in November 2024.

The 33,000-capacity venue has served Wales well, with the team losing only once in regular play during their past 14 all-competition games there. FAW chief executive Noel Mooney emphasized the "happiness" of players, fans, and the association with the atmosphere at Cardiff City Stadium, which opened in 2009 to replace Ninian Park. The ground has not hosted an international match since 2018.

While Cardiff City Stadium remains the primary venue, the FAW will consult supporters about future Principality Stadium games for friendlies or Euro qualifiers between March and November 2027. There's also potential for Wales' men to follow the women's team by playing at Wrexham. This autumn's schedule could feature Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo when Wales face Norway and Portugal.
