Rangers secured their place in a fourth consecutive Women's Scottish Cup final with a 2-0 victory over Montrose at Hampden. Katie Wilkinson, the division's top scorer, came on at half-time and broke the deadlock with a header from Jodi McLeary's corner in the 51st minute before adding a penalty in stoppage time.

Montrose, the heavy underdogs, frustrated Rangers throughout an even first half but failed to create any clear chances. Craig Feroz's side continued to impress after the break but could not turn their pressure into goals, with Demi Taylor's long-range strike the closest they came. The top-six bound side left everything on the pitch despite the defeat.

Rangers will now face Old Firm rivals Celtic in the final on 31 May as they bid for a third consecutive trophy, having beaten Glasgow City and Hearts in 2025 and 2024 respectively. Head coach Leanne Crichton admitted her team were fortunate to progress. "Montrose are a tough nut to crack - the reality is they marginally missed out on the top six. I'm really disappointed with our collective in the first half."
