Premier League clubs have unanimously voted to extend the £30 cap on away ticket prices for another two seasons, ensuring it remains in place until the end of the 2027-28 campaign. This decision locks in the price limit for a total of 12 consecutive years, a significant period that began in 2016. The extension comes after the Premier League and clubs acknowledged the financial pressures away fans face when following their teams across the country. The Football Supporters' Association (FSA) welcomed the news, highlighting it as a victory for their persistent campaigning efforts that initially pushed for the cap. Since the cap's introduction, away match attendance has surged from 82% to 91%, demonstrating its positive impact on fan engagement.
