Arsenal dominate the Professional Footballers' Association men's player of the year nominations with three representatives, while Manchester United and Manchester City each have two candidates. Declan Rice, Gabriel and David Raya earned recognition for their roles in Arsenal's Premier League triumph, ending a 22-year title drought.

Bruno Fernandes secured his place on the shortlist after claiming the Football Writers' Association award earlier this month. The Portugal midfielder set a new benchmark with 21 Premier League assists, driving United to a third-place finish and highlighting his creative influence across the campaign.

Manchester City's Erling Haaland contributed 27 goals to claim the golden boot, while teammate Rayan Cherki impressed during his debut Premier League season. The City pair represent the champions' attacking threat, though Haaland's goal tally fell short of last year's winner Mohamed Salah's 29 strikes.

The ceremony takes place on Tuesday, August 25 at the 53rd annual PFA Awards in Manchester. Fernandes enters as the favorite given his FWA recognition, but Arsenal's collective excellence gives their trio strong credentials for individual recognition.
