Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal worth a minimum of £22m to sign Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace. The Colombia international has been given permission to undergo a medical before finalizing the move. The transfer reunites Munoz with Forest boss Oliver Glasner, who previously managed him at Selhurst Park.

Talks accelerated following Palace's 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on Friday. Munoz joined Palace from Genk in 2024 and made 109 appearances, scoring 11 goals, playing a key role in the club's FA Cup and Europa Conference League successes under Glasner. The 30-year-old has just under two years remaining on his contract.

Palace have already signed Anan Khalaili from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise as his expected replacement under new manager Pierre Sage. Munoz featured in Palace's opening 2-0 loss at Everton but was an unused substitute against City. Meanwhile, Forest have also launched an ambitious £40m bid plus a potential sell-on clause for Everton teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
