England defender John Stones has joined Italian champions Inter Milan on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract. The 32-year-old departed Manchester City after his contract expired at the end of June, concluding a decade-long tenure.

During his time at City, Stones achieved significant success, winning six Premier League titles, the Champions League, and multiple domestic cups. He made 295 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals. Stones attracted interest from other European clubs, including Chelsea and Juventus, after becoming a free agent.

Inter Milan, who recently secured their 21st Serie A title, will begin their championship defense on August 22nd. Stones, who previously played for Barnsley and Everton, also has 93 caps for England and was part of their World Cup squad.
