Ipswich Town have signed winger Julio Enciso and midfielder Abdoul Ouattara from French club Strasbourg. Paraguay international Enciso, 22, and Ivorian Ouattara, 20, have both penned five-year contracts with the Tractor Boys. The reported combined fee for both players has the potential to reach £47.3m, with both players having played for boss Gary O'Neil in France.

Enciso, who spent three years at Brighton, spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Portman Road before moving to Strasbourg. "I am so happy to be back at Ipswich Town," he said. He expressed excitement about playing for the manager again at a great club like Ipswich.

Ouattara made 45 appearances for Strasbourg and was part of the side that reached the Uefa Conference League semi-finals last season. Since securing promotion from the Championship, Ipswich have spent £150m with these acquisitions taking them up to 12 major signings. Ipswich begin their Premier League campaign on 22 August.
