Ipswich Town have reached an agreement to sign forward Julio Enciso from Strasbourg. The 22-year-old Paraguay international impressed under current manager Gary O'Neil at the French club last season. The former Bournemouth and Wolves player was pursued by Ipswich following O'Neil's appointment as manager this summer.

This move would mark Enciso's return to the Tractor Boys after a six-month loan spell from Brighton in 2025. While the fee has not been disclosed, sources indicate it would cover a significant portion of Ipswich's remaining transfer budget, benefiting the club financially. For Strasbourg, this represents a substantial return on the £7.7m they paid for Enciso last summer.

The signing enhances Ipswich's recent transfer activity, adding to signings like Daizen Maeda and Emersonn ahead of their Premier League debut.
