Heart of Midlothian have agreed a deal to sell Greece winger Alexandros Kyziridis to an unnamed Turkish club for a fee of around £1.7m. The 25‑year‑old joined the Tynecastle club last summer from Slovakian outfit Zemplin Michalovce, signing a three‑year contract. The transfer represents a significant income for Hearts and a record fee for the Slovakian side.

Kyziridis quickly became a key attacking player under head coach Derek Mc Innes, helping Hearts push close to a historic league title. He delivered six goals and 11 assists in 42 appearances, showcasing his pace and crossing ability. His performances also earned him a debut for the Greek national team in a friendly against Italy this summer.

After starring in a friendly against Portuguese giants Benfica in Lisbon, Kyziridis is now set to travel to Turkey to finalise his move. The transfer follows months of interest from several clubs, and he will join a Turkish side looking to bolster their attacking options. The deal is expected to be officially announced shortly.
