John Murray, Ian Dennis and Ali Bruce-Ball are back together on this episode of Football Daily, discussing the week's biggest football stories. The team covers Lisandro Martinez's public criticism of the Manchester United hierarchy, following his post-match outburst, and Manchester City's Champions League defeat to PSG.
The show also looks at whether Luis Enrique now recognises John, and how Ali came close to missing a major commentary last season. Listeners also hear which team member served as Martin Lewis' phone-a-friend on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
The episode includes a segment on illness forcing a commentator to withdraw, reflections on covering Manchester City this week, and a look at this weekend's fixtures. Ian Dennis also gets his turn in the Clash of the Commentators, where he hopes to level up the standings, alongside Frank Lampard and a golf buggy anecdote.
The programme wraps up with the Unintended Pub Name of the Week and new entries to the Great Glossary of Football, which adds more colourful terms from the game.
