FA Cup Prize Money Breakdown 2026

Men's FA Cup winners will pocket £2.1 million this season, a £120,000 increase from last year. The women's champions receive £430,000, with their prize pot remaining unchanged. Total men's prize money stands at £23.5 million, dwarfing the women's £6.14 million pot.

The prize structure reflects the massive revenue gap between the men's and women's games, driven by broadcast deals and gate receipts. Clubs earn additional funds from TV appearances, with selected teams receiving up to £80,000. Gate receipts are split 45-45-10 between clubs and the FA.

Lewes FC director Ben Hall recently criticized the disparity, though the FA points to growing revenues. Lower-league clubs can earn significant sums by drawing top sides away; Exeter City expects £250,000-£400,000 from their Etihad tie. No replays exist post-qualifying, with extra time and penalties deciding drawn games.
