Chelsea forwards Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro swapped the football pitch for the movie set, appearing in Madonna's promotional film for her new album. The pair, who missed out on England and Brazil World Cup squads respectively, feature in the 14-minute "Confessions II - The Film." The players appear about six minutes into the video when approached by Madonna at a urinal.

Madonna, a regular Chelsea fan, unveiled the film at New York's Tribeca Festival last Friday. Palmer missed England's World Cup squad after a season affected by injuries, while Joao Pedro was overlooked by Brazil despite scoring 20 goals in all competitions during his first season at Chelsea.

Madonna's appearance with the players continues her connection to Chelsea. Last month, she joined celebrities launching the club's new 2026-27 home kit in a Twitch stream. Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II, Madonna's new album, will be released on July 3.
