Cardiff's Principality Stadium will host the 2029 Uefa Women's Champions League final, it has been announced. The 73,931-seat venue previously hosted the men's final in 2017 between Real Madrid and Juventus. It will be renamed National Stadium of Wales for the event to comply with Uefa sponsorship rules.

Football Association of Wales (FAW) chief executive Noel Mooney said the tournament represents more than a single night, aiming to catalyse growth in women's and girls' football in Wales. This follows Cardiff City Stadium hosting the women's final in 2019 between Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon. Principality Stadium, owned by the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), recently hosted the FA Community Shield.

WRU group chief executive Abi Tierney described the selection as a hugely significant moment for women's sport in Wales and Europe. Uefa also confirmed Munich will host the 2028 men's final, with Barcelona staging 2029. The 2028 women's final goes to Parc Olympic Lyonnais, while the National Arena in Bucharest hosts the 2028 Europa League final.
