Noni Madueke scored late to earn Arsenal a victory at Nottingham Forest. Arsenal keeper Matz Sels was untested until Forest's resistance broke with 10 minutes left, while goalkeeper Gabriel Magalhaes and defender David Raya both gave solid displays. Bruno Guimaraes was replaced early by Merino as his form slipped, and Kai Havertz offered little from the bench. Meanwhile, Ousmane Diomande settled in well for Forest despite his summer signing status.
