Aberdeen are in the latter stages of their search for a new manager, with candidates having been interviewed. The club has been without a permanent boss since the departure of Barry Robson, and the process is now entering its final phase as they look to secure leadership for the upcoming season.
The search follows a disappointing campaign where Aberdeen finished fourth in the Scottish Premiership, missing out on European qualification. With the new manager facing a crucial summer transfer window, the appointment will be pivotal for rebuilding the squad and setting a clear direction for the club's ambitions.
Fans are eager for clarity, and an announcement is expected soon. The incoming manager will inherit a talented but inconsistent squad, tasked with closing the gap on Celtic and Rangers. Their tactical approach and ability to integrate youth will be closely watched as the new season approaches.
