Aberdeen FC has been granted a permanent alcohol licence, which will be effective from their August 1st league opener against Heart of Midlothian.

Alcohol will be available for purchase during "lower risk non-category CIR matches." Aberdeen chief executive Alan Burrows expressed satisfaction, stating that supporter feedback consistently emphasized the desire for a more modern and flexible stadium experience. The club has collaborated closely with authorities to implement necessary safeguards and operating procedures.

Aberdeen is appreciative of the positive feedback regarding previous alcohol licence trials, which improved the matchday experience. This enhancement will be introduced for their first home league fixture against Hearts.
