Liam Rosenior is back in management, signing a two-year deal with Paris FC after his short tenure at Chelsea.

Rosenior, who was dismissed by Chelsea in April after less than four months, takes over from Antoine Kombouare after Paris FC finished 11th in Ligue 1. The club, owned by the Arnault family with Red Bull as a minority shareholder, is aiming for greater success.

The French club cited Rosenior's "wealth of experience", his ability to develop young players, and his commitment to "attractive and attacking football" as reasons for his appointment. Rosenior's previous spell at Strasbourg saw the club finish seventh in the 2024-25 season with the youngest squad in Europe's top five leagues, qualifying for the Uefa Conference League.

Chelsea has since appointed Xabi Alonso as their new manager, marking the sixth permanent boss at Stamford Bridge in four years under Blue Co ownership. Rosenior's previous coaching roles include spells with Brighton U23s, Derby County, and Hull City, where he achieved a seventh-place finish in the Championship.
