The final seven places in this season's Champions League league phase will be confirmed next week, with 36 teams set to compete. Of those, 29 sides have already secured their spots, including five English clubs: Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool (top five finishers) plus Aston Villa (Europa League winners).

Spain also has five representatives: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, and Real Betis. Italy and Germany each have four teams, with Inter Milan, Napoli, Roma, and Como joining Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Stuttgart.

France's Lens, Lille, and Paris St-Germain qualified, though PSG's Champions League victory last season allowed Shakhtar Donetsk to take their Ligue 1 spot. Portugal's Sporting CP enters the league phase after Aston Villa surrendered their additional place.

UEFA determines national allocations using association rankings from 2020-21 to 2024-25. England, Spain, Italy, and Germany (top four) receive four direct qualifiers each, while France gets three. The remaining spots come through qualifying rounds split between champions and league paths.
