The NFL's cut-down deadline brought a flurry of activity across all 32 teams as rosters were trimmed to 53 players. The Titans waived quarterback Will Levis, ending his injury-plagued tenure in Tennessee. The team's decision came as part of a broader cut tracker that saw the Bills release Mecole Hardman and the Giants acquire defensive lineman Roy Okoye. Cleveland opted to keep three quarterbacks — Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders and rookie Taylen Green — while placing Dillon Gabriel on injured reserve with a back injury and a designated return tag.

Pittsburgh feels good about its quarterback room, keeping all four passers — Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and Drew Allar behind starter Aaron Rodgers — on the initial 53-man roster. The Giants gave Odell Beckham Jr. a roster spot after a season away from the NFL, while Philadelphia placed outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard on the active roster as he recovers from a pec injury, a positive sign for the Eagles' defense.

Exempt Lists & Injuries

The NFL placed Packers running back Josh Jacobs on the commissioner exempt list as the team simultaneously traded for a running back. Denver's outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper was also placed on the exempt list following two arrests this summer on domestic violence charges. Seattle's Zach Charbonnet remains on the PUP list, meaning the running back will miss at least the Seahawks' first four games, while the team also released a cornerback as part of roster finalization.

Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested early Sunday on drunken driving charges, casting doubt on his availability for the season opener.
