NBA Injury Updates
The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a blow as MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo is slated to miss a minimum of one week after diagnostic tests confirmed a bone bruise and a hyperextended left knee, demanding reevaluation in seven days. Compounding league injury woes, Detroit guard Cade Cunningham exited Tuesday’s victory over the Wizards prematurely due to acute back spasms, raising immediate concerns for the Pistons' playoff positioning given his status as an MVP frontrunner. Furthermore, the Memphis Grizzlies confirmed that both forward Santi Aldama and guard Scotty Pippen Jr. will undergo season-ending surgeries, effectively ending their campaigns prematurely and further depleting the team’s depth chart heading into the final stretch.
