Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss at least one week after suffering a hyperextended left knee and bone bruise, sources told ESPN. The two-time MVP landed awkwardly after a dunk during Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers and was held out for the remainder of the contest. Coach Doc Rivers said imaging showed no structural damage, but Antetokounmpo will be reevaluated in seven days.

This marks the 32nd game Antetokounmpo has missed this season, the most of his career. The 31-year-old has battled calf strains throughout the campaign, playing in just 36 games while averaging 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. Since returning March 2, Antetokounmpo played six games with limited minutes as the team managed his workload.

The injury compounds Milwaukee's struggles as they sit 11th in the Eastern Conference at 28-39, five and a half games out of the final play-in tournament spot. The Bucks are 11-20 without Antetokounmpo this season and 17-19 when he plays. Rivers acknowledged the team faces difficult decisions about Antetokounmpo's playing future given their fading postseason chances, with only 14 games remaining in the regular season.
