The Omni Group has updated its full suite of apps — OmniFocus, OmniOutliner, OmniPlan, and OmniGraffle — for Apple's 2027 system releases, including iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27. CEO Ken Case detailed the effort in a blog post titled “Hey Siri, We’re Ready!” highlighting the complexity of supporting three to five platforms per app simultaneously.

The flagship update is OmniFocus 4.9, which introduces deep Siri AI integration. Users can now ask Siri to assign and edit due dates, flags, notes, and repeat schedules. Leveraging Apple Intelligence, the app supports onscreen awareness and Visual Intelligence, allowing users to capture handwritten notes or whiteboard photos and send action items directly to OmniFocus. Siri can also access personal context from the OmniFocus database to summarize actions, suggest tasks, and convert meeting follow-ups into reminders.

OmniOutliner 6.3 receives Liquid Glass design refinements across platforms. Both OmniFocus and OmniOutliner now include a new searchable API for Omni Automation, aiding script development and progressing toward Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementation. Case also confirmed the team is preparing apps for the recently announced iPhone Duo foldable device.
