Blackstone is aiming to raise $8.5 billion for the fifth vintage of its energy strategy, according to documents from the Minnesota State Board of Investment. The alternative giant's energy transition funds make equity investments across the energy value chain. Blackstone Energy Transition Partners V launched in November last year, PEI Group data shows.
