Samsung is expanding One UI 9 to more Galaxy devices after the interface debuted on its recent foldables. The update rolls out to the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra starting today, along with the Galaxy S26 FE. A key feature, My Fan Cam, now available to slate-style smartphones, automatically crops video to focus on a chosen person, ideal for concerts.

Beyond this, One UI 9 introduces Now Brief with new generative and editable cards for daily summaries. Now Nudge offers suggestions using personal context across the Galaxy ecosystem, such as pulling reservation details into texts. Interpreter gains a Thread View to help users track translated conversations, while Conversation Mode translations are faster.

Voice Recorder provides structured summaries with headings and tables. Document Scan improves capture of curved or folded pages. The update also includes Security Brief for malware alerts, Privacy Alerts, and expands scam call detection to Japan, Canada, and India.
