Roblox Now Supports GrapheneOS

Roblox has updated its security measures, introducing remote attestation to verify device integrity. This system confirms users are playing on a genuine, unmodified device running a trusted operating system, thereby hindering the use of cheat tools and modified apps. Players may encounter messages like "This place has enabled additional hardware security requirements" if their Android device fails these checks, potentially limiting access to certain games.

To resolve this, users can update or reinstall Roblox from official stores, update their device's software, or use a supported device. Advanced users with rooted devices or custom firmware are advised to return to official software and lock their bootloader. Emulators and virtual devices are explicitly treated as untrusted. Game creators decide the strictness of these integrity checks, meaning some games may still be playable on unsupported devices.

While most devices adhering to Google's security requirements pass automatically, Roblox has officially stated support for GrapheneOS when the bootloader is locked. Other third-party ROMs may be supported if they maintain the AOSP security model, allow locked bootloaders, and properly publish verified boot keys. Amazon Fire devices are not expected to be supported. Roblox cannot override these checks as it would compromise game fairness.
