Raspberry Pi 5 is here, priced at $350 for the 16GB model. The Pi Foundation upgraded its iconic single-board computer with a 64-bit quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 CPU running at 2.4GHz, delivering 2–3× faster CPU performance than the Pi 4. New features include USB 3.0 ports, dual-band Wi-Fi/Bluetooth 5.0, and a redesigned RP1 “southbridge” chip doubling USB bandwidth and supporting PCIe 2.0 via a separate adapter.

Industrial applications benefit from 4Kp60 dual HDMI outputs and a rearchitected Image Signal Processor for advanced camera setups. For the first time, Raspberry Pi uses in-house silicon, marking a technical leap for the low-cost hardware platform.
