This update specifically addresses bugs that broke Outlook and cloud apps like OneDrive and Dropbox, which became unresponsive after the initial security patches.

The company's first emergency fix on January 17 resolved Remote Desktop and hibernation failures from the original Patch Tuesday. However, that correction inadvertently broke cloud storage integration. The latest cumulative update now bundles all protections from both the January 13 security release and the January 17 OOB patch.
