Laguna M.1, a 225B-parameter Mixture of Experts (MoE) model, and its smaller sibling Laguna XS.2 (33B parameters), represent breakthroughs in agentic coding AI. XS.2 is the first open-weight model from the company, available under Apache 2.0 licensing for research and commercial use. Both models excel at long-horizon tasks, with XS.2 achieving 44.5% on SWE-bench Pro and 30.1% on Terminal-Bench 2.0.

The release includes an agent harness and API access, enabling developers to build autonomous software agents capable of writing and executing code.
