The International Utility Locate Rodeo is a free event for utility locators worldwide, taking place December 7th & 8th, 2026, in Springfield, MO. The MOCGA Summit follows on December 9th & 10th, offering free safety and damage prevention classes. The event promotes best practices, recognizes top locators, and restores pride in the profession.
Competitors can win cash prizes: $1,000 per division winner, $500 for runner-up, and $100 for wheel winners. A Christmas Toy Drive for CASA is also underway — scan the QR code or visit the Amazon wish list to donate. The mission is to reduce underground utility incidents and improve construction safety.
Past rodeos attracted 75 competitors from 18 states and Canada. The 2026 event continues this legacy with networking, meals, and competitive locating challenges under sunny skies.
