The Parowozownia Wolsztyn, operated by the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, City of Wolsztyn, and Wolsztyn County with PKP CARGO S.A., maintains Europe's last regular standard-gauge steam passenger service. From March 7, 2026, steam-hauled trains run Monday–Friday on the Wolsztyn–Zbąszynek route (train 77385/77256) and Saturdays on Wolsztyn–Poznań Główny (train 77217/77246). No service operates on Sundays or holidays.

A periodic inspection of steam locomotive Pt47-65 from August 20–28, 2026, will temporarily replace steam with diesel locomotive SM42 6D. Tickets are available at www.koleje-wielkopolskie.com.pl, station ticket offices, or from the train conductor.

The weekday schedule departs Wolsztyn at 14:23, arriving Zbąszynek at 15:09, with return at 15:37 reaching Wolsztyn at 16:23. Saturday service leaves Wolsztyn at 10:46, arriving Poznań Główny at 12:50, returning at 15:21 to reach Wolsztyn at 17:44. The depot remains a cultural institution preserving operational steam heritage in Poland.
