Anthropic Launches Claude for Small Business with Ready-to-Run AI Workflows

Anthropic unveiled Claude for Small Business, a new offering that embeds AI capabilities directly into the tools small businesses already use daily. The package includes connectors for QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Docusign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365, enabling owners to automate payroll planning, invoice chasing, marketing campaigns, and month-end closing without leaving their existing workflows.

The system ships with 15 pre-built agentic workflows spanning finance, operations, sales, and marketing. Each workflow requires user approval before executing actions, maintaining existing permission structures across connected platforms. This addresses the 44% of U.S. GDP that small businesses represent, where AI adoption has traditionally lagged due to lack of tailored tools and training.

Alongside the product launch, Anthropic partnered with PayPal to offer AI Fluency for Small Business—a free online course featuring real business owners demonstrating practical AI implementation. A spring tour across 10 cities will provide hands-on workshops for local business leaders.

By focusing on existing tool integration rather than requiring new behaviors, Claude for Small Business aims to move small businesses beyond basic chat interactions toward meaningful automation of their most time-consuming tasks.
