Agent4Lease is a prototype‑stage marketplace that lets developers publish infrastructure and platform agents and earn revenue whenever they run.

The system is split into a hosted control plane and subscriber‑owned data planes. Authors upload a GitHub repo, the platform reviews the agent, and once live it appears in the marketplace. Runners lease the agent into their own Kubernetes, Open‑Stack, or bare‑metal environments; the agent code runs on the runner’s hardware while the control plane issues configuration, rotates credentials, and tracks heartbeats.

Authors keep 70% of every lease fee. Payments are issued monthly on the 1st, and idle leases do not count toward payouts. Pricing plans start at $0/mo for one agent and data plane, while the TEAM tier costs $149/mo for up to 10 agents and data planes. Custom fleets are available for larger deployments.

Leasing is simple: request a lease, receive an install command, deploy the agent, and the control plane takes over scheduling and policy. You can scale or revoke leases instantly, and your data never leaves your infrastructure. The marketplace also offers free publishing; developers can monetize their agents while keeping the workload on their own resources.
