Samsung has launched its 2026 foldable lineup, featuring three new models: the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the top-tier Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. This marks the first time Samsung has offered three foldables, with the Z Fold 8 introducing a wider design for media consumption. The new devices are slimmer and faster, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip.

Prices have increased across the board due to component shortages, with the Z Flip 8 starting at $1,200 and the Z Fold 8 Ultra reaching $2,100. Both larger foldables boast significantly thinner designs and improved battery capacities compared to their predecessors. Samsung also introduced "Flex Titanium" for enhanced screen durability and reduced crease visibility. Camera capabilities vary, with the Ultra featuring a 200MP primary sensor, while the Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 have dual-camera systems.

Alongside the foldables, Samsung unveiled new smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9. The Ultra 2, priced at $700, offers a rugged design and enhanced durability, while the Watch 9 starts at $380. All new devices, including the watches, are available for preorder today and will ship on August 7.
