The delay follows an extraordinary response to the earlier announcement, with demand from fans, collectors, and retail partners prompting expanded manufacturing and a broader long-term software roadmap. Existing pre-orders remain secure and retain priority, with no price increase. Founding Supporter Bonus is included with all launch production consoles.

The decision comes after unprecedented worldwide demand for memory chips, driven by investment in AI infrastructure, created industry-wide supply constraints. Rather than proceed with the previously planned November launch with severely constrained availability, PLAION REPLAI chose to take additional time to secure component supply and manufacturing capacity.
