Alonso criticized Chelsea's consistency and competitive mentality, stating they dropped their level after conceding first. 'You don't have to give advantage in these kind of games... we have not been able to keep that level throughout these few games,' he said.

Colwill echoed concerns about set-piece vulnerability and counter-attacks, adding: 'We can't rely on our front three to pull us of danger -- we all need to help each other.' The defeat extended Chelsea's winless run to three matches in the Premier League.
