A new leak from China claims to reveal key details about the upcoming Apple A20 Pro chip, expected to power the iPhone 18 Pro series and iPhone Ultra. Through reverse-engineering of solder diagrams, the leaker reportedly determined the chip's design.

The A20 Pro will reportedly maintain a 2+4 CPU structure while upgrading to a 7-core GPU. The "small" power-efficiency CPU cores are said to feature 8MB of L2 cache, an increase from 6MB on the A19 Pro. The "big" performance cores will retain 16MB of L2 cache.

It remains unclear how much system cache the A20 Pro will include. Apple is scheduled to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and Ultra models on September 9, where further details about the new flagship iPhone chip are anticipated.
