Apple prepares to unveil its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Ultra, at a September 9 event in Cupertino. New CEO John Ternus takes the stage following Tim Cook's transition to executive chairman. The iPhone Ultra is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch exterior and 7.8-inch interior display, though it lacks a telephoto lens and carries a $2,000+ price tag.

Alongside the foldable, Apple will likely announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with a base iPhone 18 delayed until spring 2027. The event will also showcase the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4. Beyond smartphones, Apple recently launched new Mac mini and Mac Studio desktops powered by the M6 and M5 Ultra chips, available September 22.

The "Surprise and shine" event begins at 1PM ET/10AM PT and can be streamed via the Apple TV App, Apple's website, or YouTube. Live blogging and a post-event YouTube stream will provide ongoing coverage and analysis.
