Amazon just refreshed its Fire TV Stick 4K — here's what's new. The new Fire TV Stick 4K promises 35% faster app launches and up to 20% faster content playback. It supports Wi-Fi 6, 4K 60fps video, and ships with Amazon's Vega OS out of the box.

Powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz processor, it includes 8GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 5.3, and supports HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, H.265, H.264, VP9, and AV1. The redesigned Fire TV remote features an asymmetrical shape with a flat top and curved, weighted bottom for tactile identification. The Home button has a metallic finish; other buttons are indented and uniquely shaped for touch navigation.

The device also supports Direct Power via TV USB port. Amazon is offering the new Fire TV Stick 4K for $30 in the U.S. for a limited time (regular price $60), launching today in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Mexico, U.K., Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.
