Apple specifies that fast charging requires a 60-watt USB PD 3.1-compatible adapter with Adjustable Voltage Supply; currently, only the Apple 40W dynamic power adapter meets these criteria.

Third-party chargers like the Anker 45W brick or MacBook chargers (96W/140W) lack the required feature and may not support optimal speeds. For wireless charging, the iPhone 18 Pro reaches 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes using the Apple MagSafe Charger and a 35-watt power brick. Preorders begin this Saturday, with shipping starting September 18.

The upcoming iPhone Duo foldable will support the same fast charging speeds when paired with compatible accessories. Apple no longer includes power adapters with iPhone sales, providing only a USB-C cable.
