Following today’s announcement of the i Phone Duo, Apple has launched resources to help developers prepare their apps for the company’s first foldable i Phone.

Earlier today, Apple announced the i Phone Duo at its “Surprise and Shine” event. The device was unveiled alongside the i Phone 18 Pro, i Phone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4, and Air Pods 5 with Active Noise Cancellation.

Apple also launched a page with two i Phone Duo Group Labs on September 16 and 17, plus Q&As on Photos & Camera, Swift UI, and UIKit on September 23. i Phone Duo Workshops will begin later this month, offering hands-on sessions to optimize apps and “explore resizability for all screen sizes.”

The “Get ready for i Phone Duo” page lists Xcode 27.1 beta, “Designing for i Phone Duo,” “Preparing your app for i Phone Duo,” and six WWDC-style videos covering design, adaptive layouts, multiple displays and scenes, and camera experiences.
