Apple has released a new YouTube playlist designed to help developers prepare their apps for the upcoming iPhone Duo, its first foldable device. The "Get ready for iPhone Duo" playlist on the Apple Developer channel includes six videos covering design, adaptive layouts, multiple displays, and camera experiences.

The iPhone Duo introduces several software features, such as controls moved to the sides of the display for easier thumb access, a vertically oriented Home Screen dock, and a redesigned status bar. The software smoothly transitions between the outer and inner displays as the device opens, keeping controls consistent while content scales.

The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB, with storage options up to 2TB. Preorders begin October 16, and availability starts October 23. This launch is part of Apple's broader fall lineup, which also includes the iPhone 18 Pro models.
