Gentler Stories released updates for Gentler Streak 5.13 and The Outsiders 1.8, leveraging iOS 27's new capabilities. Both apps now integrate App Intents, allowing users to ask the new Siri AI for health and fitness information without opening the app. Siri's onscreen awareness feature also lets the assistant understand what users are viewing within the apps to provide context on workout summaries and health charts.

The update includes an AI-powered workout title suggestion tool and a refreshed icon set adopting the Liquid Glass design language. Furthermore, both apps now automatically adjust to fit any screen size or position, making them iPhone Duo-ready and better adapting to iPad window sizes. Gentler Stories' CEO Katarina Lotrič stated users can ask Siri for daily health updates, training readiness, and body metrics by including the app name in their prompts.

The apps support queries about workouts, activity status, daily suggestions, and sleep data. These enhancements aim to make fitness tracking more intuitive and accessible through voice and visual AI integration.
