Hull City have agreed a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt to sign winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya. The 21-year-old France Under-21 international is open to the move and has been granted permission to undergo a medical in East Yorkshire before Tuesday's transfer deadline. Bahoya, who has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 78 matches for Frankfurt since joining from Angers in 2024, is primarily a left winger capable of playing in multiple attacking positions.

He holds the Bundesliga speed record after being clocked at 23.09mph during a 2025 match against Bochum. The signing could become Hull's 13th of the summer transfer window as the club invests heavily in Sergej Jakirovic's squad. Hull recently beat Manchester United and Coventry City in their opening Premier League matches after securing promotion through last season's play-offs.
