Tottenham have agreed a deal worth up to £85 million to sign Savinho from Manchester City, sources told ESPN. Spurs will pay an initial £75m plus £10m in performance-related add-ons, ending a pursuit dating back to last summer.

The 22-year-old winger made 53 appearances for City — registering two goals and 12 assists — after joining from Troyes in 2024 for €40m. He was left out of City's Community Shield squad while talks continued, having made just seven Premier League starts under Pep Guardiola last season.

The transfer pushes Tottenham's summer spending past £300m following arrivals including Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke, plus free agents Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Martin Dúbravka. The club has recouped around £140m from departures of Luka Vuskovic, Cristian Romero and Djed Spence.

Sources say Spurs remain in talks over a separate deal for City forward Omar Marmoush. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi is due to speak Friday ahead of the Premier League opener at Brentford on Saturday.
