Leeds Rhinos' impressive Super League campaign in finishing second has been reflected in six players selected in the 2026 Dream Team. Half-backs Jake Connor and Brodie Croft, full-back Lachie Miller, winger Maika Sivo, centre Ash Handley and back-rower James Mc Donnell were selected in a line-up picked through a process involving journalists, fans and former players. Wigan, who are two-thirds of the way to a potential treble and have secured the League Leaders' Shield, are represented by hooker Brad O'Neill and winger Zach Eckersley.

Leigh centre Umyla Hanley and prop Joe Ofahengaue were rewarded for their form with a pick, with the latter selected alongside Wakefield's Caleb Hamlin-Uele up front in the line-up. Warrington's Ben Currie was named loose forward, while Toulouse's 16-try Mathieu Jussaume is the Olympique's first Dream Team representative, as a second-row selection. Connor, Hanley and Mc Donnell all retain their place from the 2025 selection.

England head coach Brian Mc Dermott can be heartened by the number of England-qualified players in the Dream Team, given that the 2026 World Cup is little over a month away.
