Rangers have been drawn against Aberdeen in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals, while Hearts and Hibernian will contest the Edinburgh derby. The last four ties take place at Hampden Park on the weekend of 31 October-1 November. Derek Mc Innes' side reached the last four with a comprehensive victory over Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday, having last won this competition in the 2023-24 season when they beat Aberdeen 1-0 in the final.

Hibernian beat League 1 Ross County 3-0, Hearts beat Stenhousemuir by the same score and Aberdeen knocked out Kilmarnock on penalties. There has already been an Edinburgh derby this season, with Hearts winning 3-1 at Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership.
